This bag is named after Grace, a fun loving personality, who partners with the womens group to bring their handcrafted bags to a wider market.  She has been a partner with Hatua since the very beginning. 
 
This traditionally woven bag is hand crafted in rural Kenya. For each bag sold, a backpack with a solar powered light is donated back to underprivilidged children in Kenya.  The light on the backpack is powered by the sun as the children walk to school and then provides a light source for them to continue their homework when the sun goes down.
